My Skincare Tarot Routine.
Skincare is such an important part of my daily routine. While at my dermatologist office the other day, I had an idea of utilizing Tarot to help me diversify my skincare routine while keeping me on track to taking better care of my skin. By utilizing the Major Arcana of any of my Tarot decks, I created for myself a small guide to skincare wellness with the help of Tarot.
Step One:
Separate the major arcana out from your Tarot deck.
Step Two:
Shuffle as you normally would.
Step Three:
Pull one to three cards. If any of the cards are reversed, I turn them upright. I usually do three steps in the morning and three steps at night.
Step Four:
Look up your cards with the guide and do what it suggests.
The Fool
Drink some water.
The Magician
Remove makeup with makeup remover wipes or creaming foam cleanser.
The High Priestess
Exfoliate lips with a lip scrub.
The Empress
Apply some rosewater toner to your face.
The Emperor
Spot treat problem areas with diluted Tea Tree oil.
The Hierophant
Apply some hydrating lip balm to your lips.
The Lovers
Use a Manuka honey mask.
The Chariot
Apply skin essence to face and neck.
Strength
Remove any unwanted facial hair.
The Hermit
Apply an undereye cream.
Wheel of Fortune
Use moisturizing face oil.
Justice
Use a comedone extractor.
The Hanged Man
Use raw shea butter.
Death
Give yourself a steam facial.
Temperance
Use an eyelash strengthening serum.
The Devil
Spritz face with facial mist.
The Tower
Exfoliate your skin.
The Star
Use raw African black soap.
The Moon
Massage your face and neck area.
The Sun
Use a lightweight sunscreen. * No matter what cards I pull, I always ensure to use sunscreen in my daily routine.
Judgment
Apply an anti-aging face serum.
The World
Use a skin smoothing face cream.
