I noticed something about the finale. When TJ is walking away we get this contrast between a soft smile from Buffy and sadness (with a hint of pride?) from Cyrus.
Okay, maybe I’m reading too much into this (wouldn’t be the first time) but the way Cyrus is looking at TJ as he leaves coupled with that “you think you know someone” line suggests to me that this is the moment Cyrus truly realizes his crush on TJ. That look of sadness? Cyrus is flashing back to the last time he had a crush, probably thinking, “Great, another straight boy who won’t like me back. Here we go again.”
Little does he know, this time around? He’s gonna get the guy.
