Besides Luke and Josh confirming Tyrus for us, the fortune teller told TJ a friend would help him with his “stuff” and TJ thought it was Buffy but they weren’t even friends then, but then he later opens up to Cyrus about his dyscalulia and says “she may have been right but you’re the one who really helped me” so Cyrus was the friend ALL ALONG. Cyrus was the first one to see the good in TJ and believe in him before anyone else did and when no one would.
