i cannot believe i just thought of this but… imagine cyrus and tj on a date at the spoon. if there was only one tater tot left, they would have the whole “you hang up first, no you hang up” conversation but with the tater tot:
tj: you can have the last tater tot, cyrus
cyrus: no, you can have it
tj: no, you can have it

amber: please someone eat the tater tot you’ve been here for hours and we’re trying to CLOSE

underneath that hard shell of a person is a soft hearted person and underneath that softness is actually another hard layer. basically, you build walls as defense and if someone manage to get they youll feel so much and ur buttons are easily pushed. But if they really really get to know you, theyll see a strong tough protective person.
